We provide distributors with the products, services, and knowledge they need to better serve their customers.

Since April 1, 1981, when Paul Mustone founded Reflex, lighting technology has changed dramatically, and we’ve changed with it. Our line card has expanded exponentially, offering customers an extraordinary range of leading edge products. Our business model has also evolved, with greatly enhanced consultative services and a knowledge-based value proposition.
We’ve invested deeply in making ourselves a go-to resource for “green” lighting solutions. That includes building a best in class infrastructure, with a state of the art Boston facility and sophisticated modeling, rendering, and auto-cad technology. We’ve also established offices outside of Boston, because our customers work on projects all across New England and we want to be right there to help.
And most important of all, we’ve built a team of highly trained professionals dedicated to doing whatever it takes to solve your lighting challenge, no matter what that may be.
Our Distributor Resources team focuses on assisting electrical distributors with anything they may need. They handle distributor stock and flow business as well as technical support. Distributor Resources has the capability to help with small job crossovers, design build opportunities, residential projects, small scale commercial and industrial jobs, and site and street lighting. They are proficient in energy codes, rebates, and energy efficient lighting technologies, and will gladly help with the selection of fixtures that are eligible for utility rebates.
Our National Accounts team focuses on large chain businesses such as retail, automotive showrooms, supermarkets, and restaurants. They provide these clients with cost and energy efficient lighting solutions for both new construction and retrofit projects. To ensure the successful completion of every project, they coordinate the activities of our manufacturers and distributors at every step from design development to order entry to system implementation.
Our Project Quotations team focuses on specification work and larger commercial projects. They work closely with designers, contractors, and manufacturers to identify a range of product options, evaluate products for availability, advise on the best fixtures for specific applications, and deliver a complete solution that meets all of the project requirements.
Our Project Management team oversees a wide variety of projects, including large-scale commercial jobs, government buildings, schools and universities, healthcare facilities, and tenant fit-outs. A dedicated project manager is assigned to the project at the beginning of the submittal process, and works closely with the contractors, distributors, and our manufacturers to ensure the project’s successful completion. . They help resolve problems and facilitate changes that may arise, and provide shipment information as the project nears conclusion.
Our Specification Services team collaborates with architects, engineers, lighting designers, and our own specification sales team during the initial design phase of a project. They provide design assistance including but not limited to: fixture suggestions, lighting calculations, layouts and renderings, lighting proposals, and fixture schedules. They can also provide fixture samples and literature in order to aid in design decisions.
